These people are the ones who remind me of my first two weeks of Amal Career Prep Fellowship 2020.

Every week, we get a new group to work on our projects but for the first two weeks, our groups remained the same. I was with these four beautiful people with whom I had amazing time and only in the first two weeks but also throughout the fellowship. Whenever I look at them, or talk to them, I remember my first two weeks which taught me a lot about myself and life in general.

My first two weeks in Amal were really hectic, but it was a start of something really special. Although I was stressed out many times but still I coped and my group meetings with these people always lifted my mood. They were awesome group members. With them I figured out what was really important to me in life and why. And with them I learnt the diversity of people, of their ideas, of passion and how kind and helpful people can be.

They remind me of the first two weeks which also contains a lot of other learnings. I learnt that I can still work hard, manage my time and still give my best. I also went through sickness but accomplished all my tasks. I went extra miles to do things I had never done before and enjoyed the newness of it. I learnt the importance of self-belief and gratitude.

I am still in contact with these people, I still have wonderful conversations with the three of them. The first one, Parkash is a silent one, so we don’t talk much, but whenever he says something during the sessions, it’s always worth listening or worth laughing over.

I can never ever forget these people, and I can never ever forget my first two week of Amal, or even the whole fellowship because of them. They were my beginning for this memorable voyage.
